Does anyone know of a place that has interactive calendars to put on websites? I’m looking for something that my customers can go to through my website and set up their own appointments. I know that such calendars exist, but I haven’t been able to find one that I like.

Hello again world! The past few months have been soooo….. hectic, fun, insane, bizarre, surprising, chaotic, entertaining, strange, humorous…. oh my, does the list go on. It’s pretty much been a madhouse! Maybe that is a better explanation! Well first on my blogging agenda, I want to thank all of my AWESOME customers. You guys rock! I cannot believe how incredibly supportive you all have been. I don’t even know how to thank you enough! Seriously, give yourselves a pat on the back for your awesomeness!! Truly, you have all been amazing and I had such a great time meeting you all and working with you.

Okay, enough with the being sappy. I just want to give a little warning about vista print and my phone situation. I’ve been having up to 8 calls a day from telemarketers. The caller ID shows the same number every time, however they ask for random things…whether or not my business accepts credit cards, or if I know the whereabouts of (insert any random name here), the person in charge of (insert any random name here) estate. They fill up my voicemail/message box when they call and they call so often that I cannot keep up with deleting their 39 voicemails they leave every time they call. The first message will be someone talking, and then the remaining 38 sound like a fax machine. I googled the number and found many other distressed people with this same problem. Apparently we all have one thing in common – we purchased business cards from vista print. Vista print must sell their customers’ phone numbers. I just wanted to give you a heads up in case you were thinking about purchasing anything from them. I don’t know for sure if they are the actual culprit, but it seems to be the general consensus from everyone. Have any of you had this problem? If so, would you mind sharing how you took care of the situation? (Blocking the number itself doesn’t do the trick because the number that appears on the caller ID is just the fake “face number”)

Hello! I feel so out of touch with the world! I’ve gone for 2 weeks without the internet!!!!!! How did people survive and live their daily lives before the invention of the internet?! Not being able to check your email is probably the equivalent to what the plague felt like!

So I have been MIA the last few weeks because my computer crashed. It also took one of my main backups with it. Rest assured that in the long run - no information was lost (besides my new brochures I was working on and some of my website info *sniffle*). I felt like a nut case for the first week after it crashed because I was rushing to re-copy everything from my remaining backup, and re-edit some RAW images…all while I was also taking 1 million senior pictures. I also ended up having to move my office from the stuio to my living room at home while all this was going on. Its a good thing I can work well under pressure!

Ok…now that I am done complaining I just wanted to let you all know that I AM ALIVE! I’M HERE! And the best part is – I have email again AND access to my website again so we can finally get going on all these proofs! I can’t WAIT to check my email on my new computer! I’ve been lost without it! Just thought I’d give you an update and let you all know that I didn’t fall off the face of the Earth. I’m back to work!

* “No sitting fee” special applies to in-studio sessions and/or limited outdoor locations. (Basically I am just saying that I’m not going to drive a bazillion miles to Arizona for free to take your family pictures. If you want to have your pictures taken outdoors, give me a call and we can discuss location details, lighting, etc.)

Kaely and Jeremy were so much fun! Jeremy has quite the sense of humor! We had a great time taking photos of them, although I’m pretty sure we were all left with mass amounts of bug bites from taking the photos at Weed Park…….but it was worth it!! Congratulations you guys!
